In working towards their Textile Arts Interest Project, the girls learned about different ways to make yarn and thread into fabrics, they learned about natural and man-made materials that can be used to make fabric, and they learned about natural and chemical dyes. After a little demonstration, they went to town decorating their own head scarves and you can see the results!
