This year 16 local troop decorated windows along Main Street in Ames as part of National Girl Scout week. Window displays were judged according to troop level and by category: best, best themed, most colorful, most informative and most creative.

Some of the awards went to:

Troop 140 - Overall Best

Troop 839 (Brownies) - 3rd Best

Troop 869 (Juniors) - Most informative

Troop 715 - 2nd Place Juniors
