Many thanks to the marvelous volunteers and planners who worked together to make the 2005 Mall Overnighter a fun filled, yet oddly sleepless, event! Our theme was "Sock Hop." We had 3 activity rotations:

pizza with a fashion show, courtesy of the Ames High School Fashion Merchandising Class and teacher Margaret Strasser

karaoke
-
dance lessons with students and instructor (Janice Baker) from Iowa State University's Health and Human Performance department.
Following the activities some went to bed and others walked the halls, played games and watched movies to the very wee hours (like 5 am or so).
Up early, 6:45 am, for a breakfast of donuts from HyVee and bagels from Breuggers Bagels, washed down with milk and juice from Fareway. Additional donations from Iowa State University, Cubs, Target and Sam's Club covered other snacks and supplies needed for this event.
