Brownie Troop 839 Visits Northcrest Retirement Community April 9, 2005 This activity was part of our "Read to lead" badge. Each girl received a book to practice reading aloud. Prior to going to Northcrest, we went to the Ames public library and got pointers on how to read aloud from Kathy Van Brocklin.
