Here are photos from Troop 955's Camera Shots badge workshop. In four sessions the girls leaned about photographic terminology, basic photographic guidelines, macro and artistic photography, and image manipulation and photo review. Russ Hoffman (our technical "director"), used green screen photography to shoot the girls, then layer their images onto various landscapes. The girls also practiced their skills after each session with their own cameras. The topic and activities kept the girls' attention for all five hours, but we also took a break for a great spaghetti lunch (courtesy of several moms who helped out) and a trip to Roosevelt school for some fresh air, plus a special troop shot to send to Iraq with our Cookie Share cookies - it was a great day!
